Ambassador Anders Carsten Damsgaard joins Baltic Energy Island as a Senior Strategic Advisor. Carsten has served as Danish Ambassador to Israel, Afghanistan, Japan, China, and Italy, and his wide experience and exceptional qualifications will help us strengthen our international profile.
With the agreement on the Bornholm Energy Island project, our focus has broadened. Our ambition is now to make Bornholm a European learning and innovation platform for offshore energy hubs. Bornholm has the potential to serve as a blueprint for future offshore projects across the EU. Carsten will contribute significantly to achieving this ambition.
After having lived abroad for many years, Carsten has now settled on Bornholm:
“Bornholm is my favourite island, and I therefore hope to be able to contribute to Bornholm’s development and growth. I am convinced that the energy island project will help create a more prosperous local community.”
Anders Carsten Damsgaard
CEO Søren Møller Christensen is also pleased with Carsten’s choice to move to Bornholm and subsequently join Baltic Energy Island.
"I’m proud to welcome Carsten to the team, and I look very much forward to working together and learning from his valuable experience.”
Søren Møller Christensen
